FZ6 - R6 Fork Mod

I'm putting this page up so that it will be easier for people to get the information about the R6 Fork Mod. Below are all the pictures and information I have about this mod. I did not create this files or this mod, but I house them on my website so that others can have easy access to the information. If you want an east download of all these pictures, please click here. Included in this zip file are 2 files with the name Shims.eps and Shims.ai. These are for a program called "mastercad" which is used in machine shops.

Update: Brake Caliper Spacer Shims - You can pick up the brake caliper shims from a website called http://www.mcmaster.com . The part number you'll need is: 93475A280. These can be used in place of having a machine shop make you a set. You will need 4 and you will probably have to order in the set of 50. They are still cheaper than having a set of 4 made up, so check it out.

For a 2004 - 2006 FZ6

Parts Needed: 

- 2003-2004 set of R6 forks  OR  2006+ R6S Forks

- 2003-2004 Front Brake Calipers (both left and right)   OR  2006+ R6S Front Brake Calipers (both left and right)

- 2003-2004 R6 Front Axle and End Bolt   OR  2006+ R6S  Front Axle and End Bolt

- Braided stainless brake lines for 2004 - 2006 FZ6 (this is optional but makes it so your not putting extra stress on the original brake lines)

- The Below Pictures in section - Wheel Spacers, Brake Shims, Fender Tabs
